SeniorSage — by djEnterprises

Last Updated: June 14, 2026

djEnterprises ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SeniorSage mobile application (the "App"). SeniorSage is a warm, voice-first companion that an adult child sets up for an aging parent, plus a gentle peace-of-mind digest for the family. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. The short version: SeniorSage transcribes speech on the device, stores conversations locally, has no analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, no location or health sensors, and we never sell your data. It is a connection product — not a monitoring or medical product.

1. What We Collect, and Where It Lives

On the device only:

  • Check-in transcripts (the text of the daily conversation), stored locally on the parent's iPhone and automatically deleted after 90 days.
  • The parent's first name, the daily check-in time, and any gentle reminders the family chooses to set.
  • A short, non-clinical "digest" of each check-in (mood described in plain words, topics talked about, a conversation starter) shown in Family Mode.

2. Information Sent Off the Device

Data leaves the device only in these specific cases:

  • The voice companion & the family digest — speech is transcribed on the device (Apple's on-device Speech framework); the resulting text, the parent's first name, and an app-assigned identifier are sent through our processing server to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the companion's spoken reply and the family digest. The raw audio never leaves the device.
  • Sign in with Apple (caregiver setup, to Apple) — requests your first name only. No email, no password, and no Apple relay email are requested or stored.
  • Subscriptions (to Apple via StoreKit) — purchases and restores are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
  • Notifications (to Apple's APNs / local notifications) — used only for gentle reminders and an occasional missed-check-in nudge.

3. What We Do Not Do

  • No analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party crash reporters.
  • No tracking across apps or websites. We do not request the IDFA.
  • No sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers — ever.
  • No monitoring or surveillance. No location tracking, no fall detection, no vitals, no biometrics, no HealthKit, and no sensors of any kind.

4. AI Processing

The companion conversation and the family digest are powered by Anthropic's Claude API, reached through our processing server. Every model response passes through an on-device safety filter before it is spoken or shown. Anthropic processes the request under its own Privacy Policy.

Anthropic acts solely as our data processor. Under its commercial API terms, Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through the API, and it automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days.

Equal protection by everyone who handles your data. Each third party that processes data on our behalf — Anthropic (AI), Apple (on-device speech, Sign in with Apple, and payments), and our hosting provider — is contractually required to provide the same or equal protection of your data as described in this policy. We do not sell your data, and we never share it for advertising or with data brokers.

Your consent comes first. Before any conversation is sent for AI processing, the family member who sets up SeniorSage gives explicit consent during setup. That consent can be withdrawn at any time (see your choices below).

5. Your Choices and Rights

  • Withdraw AI consent — Family Settings includes "Reset AI data consent," which withdraws your agreement to AI processing and deletes stored conversation data; daily check-ins pause until setup is completed again.
  • Delete everything — Family Settings includes "Delete all conversation history," which permanently removes every stored check-in, transcript, digest, and note from the device.
  • Automatic deletion — transcripts are purged after 90 days without any action needed.
  • Reminders are opt-in — the family chooses whether to set any reminders, and can remove them at any time.

6. Not a Medical or Monitoring Product

SeniorSage is a friendly daily check-in and a family connection tool — not a medical device, not a health monitor, and not an emergency-response service. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor vital signs, or summon emergency services. Mood is described in everyday language, never diagnosed. Always consult a doctor for medical questions, and call local emergency services directly in an emergency.

7. Children

SeniorSage is intended for adults. It is not directed at children.

8. Security

Conversation data is stored on the device and all network communication uses HTTPS. Our Anthropic API key lives only in secure server environment variables, never in the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted here with an updated date, and material changes are surfaced in the app.
