These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SeniorSage mobile application (the "App"), operated by djEnterprises ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The Service

SeniorSage is a voice-first companion that an adult child sets up for an aging parent, together with a gentle, non-clinical daily digest for the family. It is intended to support connection and reassurance.

2. Not a Medical, Monitoring, or Emergency Service

SeniorSage is not a medical device, not a health monitor, and not an emergency-response service. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, does not provide medical, medication, or dosage advice, does not monitor vital signs or location, and does not summon emergency services. The reminders feature is a gentle, family-authored nudge — not a clinical medication reminder. Always consult a qualified professional for medical questions, and contact your local emergency number directly in an emergency. You use the App's information at your own discretion.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

  • SeniorSage offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions, sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Prices are shown in the App before purchase.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial, where one is offered and you are eligible).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID's subscription settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended, lawful purpose, and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service or its processing servers.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how it is handled.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, djEnterprises is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. The App relies on AI-generated conversation, which can be imperfect; do not rely on it for decisions of consequence.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted here with an updated date, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
