Alien Disclosure — by djEnterprises

Last Updated: June 18, 2026

Alien Disclosure is a novelty entertainment app. This policy explains, in plain language, what data the app touches and what it does not. The short version: we don't sell your data, we don't create accounts, your photos are analyzed in real time and never stored on our servers, and your location is never tracked.

1. What the App Accesses

  • Camera — when you analyze a photo, the image is sent over an encrypted connection to our secure server (and our AI provider, Anthropic) for real-time analysis, then discarded — we do not store it. Your photo is also saved on your device as part of your Field Log; deleting the sighting (or the app) removes the local copy.
  • Photo Library — used only to let you pick an existing photo to analyze, and (if you tap Save) to write a finished certificate back to your library.
  • Location (optional) — if granted, your approximate coordinates are added to the certificate and sent with the analysis request. We request a single fix at capture time, do not track you in the background, and do not store your location history. Declining simply omits coordinates.
  • Purchases — the one-time Pro unlock is processed by Apple via StoreKit. We never see your payment details.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Your sightings, certificates, achievements, and profile are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. They are not uploaded to us. Deleting the app removes this data.

3. Photo Analysis & Our AI Provider

To generate your certificate, your photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our secure server and our AI provider (Anthropic) for real-time analysis, then discarded — it is not stored on our servers and is never used to train any model. Anthropic processes the image solely to return your fictional classification and does not retain API content to train its models (and deletes it within roughly 30 days). We require any such provider to handle your information under terms that provide the same or equivalent protection as described in this policy. The classification it produces is entirely fictional and for entertainment only. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Your Consent & How to Withdraw It

Analysis happens only when you choose to scan a photo — and by tapping to analyze, you consent to that one-time processing described above. You can withdraw consent at any time: simply stop analyzing photos, revoke Camera or Photo Library access in iOS Settings, or delete the app. Withdrawing consent does not affect analyses you already completed. The app does not transmit anything until you initiate a scan.

5. What We Do Not Do

  • No advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers, no IDFA.
  • No sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers — ever.
  • No user accounts or server-side profile of you.

6. Analytics

The app logs events locally on your device for debugging only — nothing is transmitted to us or to any analytics service.

7. Restoring Purchases

"Restore Purchases" uses Apple's StoreKit and your device's Apple ID — no separate sign-in is required, and we don't collect a name or email.

8. Children

Alien Disclosure is rated 12+ and intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. The Fiction

All species names, classifications, case numbers, confidence scores, and the "Department of Unexplained Phenomena" are fictional and generated for entertainment. Alien Disclosure is not affiliated with any government agency.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted here with an updated date.
