djEnterprises ("we," "us," or "our") makes the Aphelion mobile and TV application (the "App") — a fast, tactical one-on-one space-duel game. This Privacy Policy explains how Aphelion handles your information. The short version: your game progress, stats, and settings are stored on your device, no account is required to play, and Aphelion has no analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no access to your location, health, contacts, microphone, photos, or camera. We do not collect your data, and we never sell it.

1. What's Stored on Your Device

As you play, the App stores your game data on your device — your match record and statistics, which ships you've selected, your settings (audio, haptics, motion, accessibility), and whether you've made any in-app purchases. We run no servers of our own for Aphelion: there is no djEnterprises backend that receives or holds your game data, and we cannot see, access, or recover it.

2. Sign in with Apple & iCloud (Optional)

You can play the entire game without signing in. If you choose to use Sign in with Apple, it is used only to carry your pilot identity and progress across your own Apple devices via Apple's iCloud — this is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your password, and any identifier provided by Apple stays on your device and in your private iCloud, not on any server of ours. You can turn iCloud sync off in the App's settings, and you can remove your account and its stored identity at any time (see Section 6).

3. Game Center (Optional)

If you enable Game Center, Aphelion submits your scores to Apple's Game Center leaderboards and reports achievements. This is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms; Game Center is optional and can be disabled in your device's Settings. We do not receive your Game Center identity.

4. Information Sent Off the Device

Aphelion does not send your data to us. The only information that leaves your device is handled by Apple, not by us:

  • Purchases & restores (to Apple via StoreKit) — the optional one-time Full Game unlock and the optional ship/cosmetic packs are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details and receive no personal information from the transaction.
  • Update check — the App may query Apple's public App Store lookup service to see whether a newer version is available. This request contains no personal information about you.
  • Game Center / iCloud — only if you enable them (Sections 2–3), and only to Apple.

There is no email collection, no push notifications, no usage analytics, and no connection to any djEnterprises server of any kind.

5. What We Do Not Do

  • No analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party crash reporters.
  • No tracking across apps or websites. We do not request the IDFA.
  • No artificial-intelligence processing — the App sends none of your content to any AI service.
  • No location, health, contacts, microphone, photos, or camera access; no sensors of any kind.
  • No sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers — ever.

6. Your Data, Your Control

  • Delete your account & data in the App — if you signed in, go to Settings → Apple Account → Delete Account. This removes your stored identity from the device and from iCloud, even if sync is turned off.
  • Reset your stats — the Leaderboard screen includes a "Reset All Stats" option that clears your local game record.
  • Deleting the App removes all game data stored on the device.

7. Children

Aphelion is a general-audience game rated 9+. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children. Game Center and iCloud, if enabled, are subject to Apple's terms and any Family Sharing or Screen Time controls you have set up.

8. Security

Your game data is stored in the App's private, sandboxed storage on your device. Because your data stays on the device by default — and because we operate no server that holds it — the most important protection is simply that it never leaves. Any optional sync uses Apple's iCloud and Game Center, secured by Apple.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted here with an updated date, and material changes will be surfaced in the App.
